The first practical application… It is a reason to keep exercising regularly from now until the end of your life, no matter what. Every calorie burned is an enormous benefit for you personally. How exciting that this also extends to those around you. As humans, we often wonder if and how we can make a difference in our world. Well, here it is. Every workout you have is contributing to an international good health pandemic, and that’s just awesome.
The second practical application… It is a reason to align yourself with likeminded people who value regular exercise as much as you. Also as a human being, you are prone to times of laziness and low motivation. When this happens, you are permitted to take in the exercise contagiousness of those around you. There is nothing wrong with accepting a little peer pressure from your exercising friends once in a while, if it keeps you off the sofa.
Our whole universe is a transfer of energy, of which teeny, tiny you are a meaningful participant. Your exercise energy extends to others. Their exercise energy extends back to you. It is not just a 5k run or a few biceps curls here and there. It is a crusade for a healthier planet. Clunk, clunk. (That’s me stepping off my soapbox.)
